“First Time Parents”

“In the opening chapters of Luke’s Gospel, we meet two very different couples at two very different stages of life: Zacharias and Elisabeth, and Joseph and Mary. God interrupts their lives with an extraordinary purpose. They are chosen to raise John the Baptist and Jesus, two sons with world-shaping missions. One would call a nation back to God, the other would be its Saviour. At this pivotal moment in history, these couples are entrusted with an immense responsibility. They are not perfect people, they still face struggles and growth and their stories reveal powerful lessons about faith and failure, humility and repentance, service and preparation.

In this series, we’ll explore their journeys and draw out insights that challenge and encourage us to trust God more deeply in our own lives.”
